Global Warming Express kids from Acequia Elementary school with Mayor Alan Webb and their photo-op.

Collaborative project with Audubon, Rio Grande Elementary school (the biology teacher and her 5th grade class, and the art teacher and her 3rd grade class). We did a tour of the Santa Fe River, where the art classes paintings of native specifies were placed in their habitat. The 5th graders provided the science of each species.
This is a composite image of the Steller’s Jay, Beaver, Salamander and one of the student’s creating a painting.
Rivers Run Through Us

Mara Matteson’s fifth grade class mapping the Santa Fe River after walking a part of the River with me and Dominique Mazeaud. Their map included objects they collected along the way, as well as their stories and poems.

One of five Dreaming Water Houses installed along the Santa Fe River. Each Dreaming Water House is adopted and cared for by a sponsor and contains information, poetry, or art about our River and/or Water.
